Cocoa Man Dead After I-95 Car Accident
According to the Florida Today newspaper, a 21 year old Cocoa man died after a multi-vehicle car accident Friday, December 30, 2011. The fatal
accident occurred on Interstate 95 near Port St. John, Florida. The 21 year old man was a passenger in a northbound 1999 Isuzu Rodeo when it struck two vehicles just south of State Road 407. A tow truck that had picked up a disabled vehicle was entering onto I-95 and partially on the right shoulder heading northbound. Directly in front of the tow truck were three
pedestrians near a 1998 Kia Sportage that was properly parked on the right shoulder of the highway. Evidently, the Isuzu Rodeo hit the tow truck, spun and hit the Kia Sportage before ending up in the tree line. One of the
pedestrians, a 20 year old woman from Rockledge, had sustained serious
personal injuries. The driver of the Isuzu Rodeo, a 19 year old Cocoa man, sustained minor
