Cocoa Woman Dies in 520 Motorcycle Accident
According to the Florida Today newspaper, a Cocoa, Florida woman died following a motorcycle accident on State Road 520 in Orange County on September 3, 2011. The 48 year old Cocoa woman was riding as a passenger on a westbound motorcycle. The motorcycle had slowed down during a police traffic stop and was hit from behind by a Ford F150 being operated by an 18 year old Rockledge man. The Cocoa woman was wearing a helmet at the time of this motorcycle accident. The driver of the motorcycle, 58 year old Cocoa, Florida man, was take to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious personal injuries. He too was wearing a helmet at the time of the motorcycle accident.
