Woman Killed Walking Bicycle Across A1A In Satellite Beach

According to the Florida Today newspaper, a 50 year woman was killed Thursday, October 7, 2011 on State Road A1A in Satellite Beach, Florida. The 50 year old woman was reportedly walking her bicycle across A1A near the intersection of A1A and Desoto Parkway when she was struck by a southbound 2003 Windstar van. Reportedly, the driver of the van never saw the woman before hitting her. According to the newspaper article, the woman was not crossing A1A in a marked crosswalk. The woman died at the scene of the accident from the personal injuries she sustained as a result of this car accident.
