Fiery Palm Bay Crash Injures Motorcyclist

According to the Florida Today newspaper, a crash between a motorcycle and a van carrying ammunition resulted in a fiery car accident around 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2011. The motorcyclist sustained serious personal injuries from this motorcycle accident. The motorcycle accident occurred on Emerson Drive near the intersection of Lamplighter Drive in Palm Bay, Florida. It was suspected that the motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet due to the massive amount of head trauma he sustained.

The motorcycle crash evidently ruptured a gas tank and resulted in fiery blaze. The van was reportedly carrying ammunition. Evidently, the van was westbound on Emerson Drive when he turned left toward Lamplighter Drive and into the path of the eastbound motorcycle. The motorcyclist was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center for the treatment of his personal injuries.
