Pedestrian Struck in Median of U.S. 1 near R. J. Conlan Boulevard

June 13, 2011 - A Melbourne, Florida man was hit by the side mirror of a passing Ford F350 around 8:30 p.m. Monday night. After the mirror struck the man, the mirror evidently broke off and flew back inside the cab of the truck and struck the driver of the truck in the head. Both the pedestrian and the driver of the truck were transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center for their injuries.
