20 Year Old Woman Thrown From Car In Rockledge Crash

According to the Florida Today Newspaper, a 20-year-old Palm Bay woman was involved in a car accident and sustained personal injuries when she was thrown from her car at about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. The car crash occurred in Rockledge, Florida during the afternoon rush. Evidently, a 2006 Scion crashed into the rear of a 2008 Pontiac which flipped the Pontiac onto its right side causing its driver, who was evidently not wearing a seatbelt, to be ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the Scion was charged with careless driving for her part in this car accident. The driver of the Pontiac was treated at the scene by paramedics and then airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida for further treatment of her personal injuries.
