According to the Florida Today Newspaper, speed and alcohol could have been the cause of a car accident in Palm Bay, Florida on July 29, 2011. Evidently, the driver of a SUV lost control of his vehicle and collided witih a minivan. The car accident occurred around 8:10 p.m. south of San Filippo and Wyoming drives. A 42 year old Palm Bay man was northbound on San Filippo when his SUV veered off the roadway in a curve.
The man overcorrected, skidded into oncoming traffic and struck the oncoming Dodge minivan head on. The drive of the SUV died from a head injury as a result of the personal injuries he sustained in the car accident. The driver of the minivan suffered multiple bone fractures and at last report, remained hopitialized for his personal injuries. The passenger in the minivan suffered a broken arm. A bottle of vodka was reportedly found in the SUV.
