Man Dies On I-95 After Falling In Front Of Tractor Trailer
According to the Florida Today Newspaper, a Melbourne man died on Saturday, August 20, 2011 after he fell into the path of a tractor trailer. The 48 year old Melbourne man was evidently in front of his disabled vehicle with the hood up in the emergency lane before he fell into the highway north of Cocoa. The tractor trailer was traveling northbound past S.R. 528 (The Beachline) when it hit the victim with its right rear tire. The accident is still under investigation. It is unknown at this time what caused the man to fall into the roadway.
