22 Yr Old Man Killed By Suspected Drunk Driver In Cocoa Beach
According to the Florida Today Newspaper, a 22 year old Kissimmee man was struck and killed by a white Ford F-250 pickup Sunday afternoon (July 31, 2011) on State Road A1A in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The accident occurred about 3:40 p.m. in the northbound lane of A1A just north of First Street. The victim was only 22 years old. He was taken to Cape Canaveral Hospital following the car accident where he died shortly thereafter from the personal injuries he sustained in the car accident. The driver of the F-250 was arrested. Alcohol is suspected to have played a role in causing the fatal car accident.
