According to the Florida Today Newspaper, a Plant City man was killed and three others were injured following a July 29, 2011 accident. Evidently, the accident occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m. when a 2008 Toyotal Tundra traveling northbound on I-95 in Port St. John, Florida just south of the State Road 528 interchange, veered onto the shoulder of the highway, struck a parked trailer and overturned.
Three of the four passengers were reportedly ejected from the vehicle as it flipped over repeatedly. The Plant City man was killed and three others were injured. Some of the passengers were reportedly not wearing seatbelts. Alcohol may have been a factor in the accident. Two of the four passengers were taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida while the other injured man was taken to Wuesthoff Medical Center.
